Former Federation of Peninsular Malay Students (GPMS) deputy president Datuk Syed Anuar Syed Mohamad has been named as the National GPMS Alumni president for the 2020-2023 term.
He was elected at the alumni’s 8th Annual General Assembly held here, yesterday.
In a statement issued by GPMS today, Syed Anuar also announced the appointment of Datuk Mohd Nardin Awang, the political secretary to the Prime Minister who is also former GPMS secretary-general, as the member of the alumni’s advisory board.
Meanwhile, Hazimah Samin was named the new National GPMS Alumni secretary-general, replacing Rafie Wagini.– BERNAMA
