The Malaysia Leadership Summit will return to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 21 July 2022 at the Setia Convention Centre.
The all-day summit, themed ‘The Future of Work: Innovate, Influence, Inspire’, will examine how the world of work has changed, and how businesses and individuals can reinvent, reimagine, and revitalise the workplace to thrive in a post-pandemic era.
The MLS is part of the Asian Leadership Series and is organised by Leaderonomics, a global social enterprise, in partnership with Together We Can Change the World (“TWCCTW”), an organisation dedicated to empowering and educating women and children in Southeast Asia.
Founder and CEO of Leaderonomics, Roshan Thiran, says: “The MLS Summit will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to address new challenges in an endemic era, while emphasising empathy by donating 100 percent of the proceeds to various community initiatives, non-governmental organisations, and social causes in Southeast Asia.”
“It is also rewarding to be able to meet and share ideas with some of the top thought leaders in Human Resources, all for a great cause,” adds Scott Friedman, Founder of Together We Can Change the World.
The Summit, sponsored by Malayan Banking Berhad (“Maybank Group”) and SP Setia Berhad, will feature 12 award-winning experts discussing the future of culture, hybrid work, and engagement, as well as leadership development, service quality, communication, and sales performance.
Datuk Nora Abd Manaf, Maybank Group Chief Human Capital Officer, says: “The future of work is one of resilience and adaptability, even more than before, where innovation leadership is from across the board.
“A mindset shift set for growth will be the catalyst to innovate, influence and inspire. As communities and businesses get back on their feet, lessons from the past two years urge us to remember we are all interlinked, at every level.
“Thus, being able to once again be part of the Malaysia Leadership Summit is a great opportunity to live our humanising mission, to give back to the community, so we may inclusively rise together.”
Nadiah Tan Abdullah, Chief Human Resources Officer of SP Setia Berhad, says: “We are living in an era where the velocity of change is hitting hard on each organisation and the only way to be ahead of the curve is to be exposed to new ideas, challenge the way we do our business, and stretch our creativity beyond the norm.
“We are pleased to be part of the Malaysia Leadership Summit 2022, and we look forward to an enriching learning experience and to leverage on the network across participants from across industries and global speakers.”
Several exciting sessions will be presented at the Summit, including: ‘The Future of Work & Shaping New Possibilities’ by Manoj Menon, CEO of twimbit, an immersive life-long learning platform that provides industry knowledge to aspiring leaders; and ‘Building an Innovative & Inspiring Sales Team’ by Merit Kahn, CEO of SELLect Sales Development, which helps individuals and organisations achieve exceptional sales performance through a structured, proven consultative sales process. – BACALAHMALAYSIA.MY
