Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) has appointed Hizzan Hamid as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of KWAP’s property arm, KWEST Sdn Bhd (KWEST), effective September 1, 2021.
In a statement today, the civil retirement fund said Hizzan’s appointment follows the departure of former KWEST CEO Sufian Abdullah.
Hizzan was previously the executive director of business development at Gamuda Land, with experience managing land acquisition and commercial real estate.
His professional career in the property field spans 14 years in local and international acquisitions and facilitating joint ventures between top property development companies and government-linked organisations.
KWEST is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KWAP established in 2017 and is a special purpose investment platform for real estate development.
KWEST leading projects include Seri Tanjung Pinang 2 Phase 2A (STP2A) and Compass @ KS. – NST ONLINE
