Petronas Dagangan Bhd’s (PetDag) non-independent and non-executive director Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, 57, retired from his position, effective today.
PetDag made the announcement in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
Syed Zainal Abidin was appointed as PetDag’s managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), effective June 1, 2018.
He resigned from the positions and was redesignated as a non-independent non-executive director, effective Jan 1, 2020 and succeeded by Azrul Osman Rani as MD and CEO. – BERNAMA
