“To all flood evacuees, please follow the safety measures and procedures and evacuate to the relief centres or higher ground that are safe for you and your family,” said Ismail Sabri in a statement on his official Facebook page today.
He added that since yesterday, Nadma had deployed rescuers from several departments and agencies for the evacuation operation of people affected by floods in the two states.
“Rescuers from the Fire and Rescue Department are on the ground to ensure the evacuation process involving people affected by the floods proceeds smoothly.
“The Armed Forces through the Eighth Infantry Brigade have also been deployed to help the victims in both states.
