BUJAI WRITES: Which One Is Zahid and Najib, Tun?

By Bujai

I DON’T usually enjoy scribbling about Tun Dr Mahathir.

As an UMNO member, I still look up at him as for his contribution to the country as the fourth prime minister, and obviously not the seventh.

I always pray for his good health as I had prayed for him to take the back seat and become a truly statesman when he resigned at the end of 2013.

However, I cannot hold on to my conscience when he keeps on lamenting Najib Razak for his PH government downfall.

And he also said Najib was behind the political cooperation between UMNO and PAS.

I actually don’t know how much he despises Najib. All that I know, Najib really haunts him everywhere he goes.

Najib even intrudes into his dream, that’s how I sum it up.

And unfortunately, his memory is leaving him. At 95, he couldn’t even remember what he did during his tenure as the seventh prime minister, let along the 22-year long ‘riding’ the party for his own and cronies gain.

To me, that’s history and a big chunk of UMNO’s bad history.

But when he said yesterday in his jottings about his ‘resignation’, he made a mistake by naming Najib as the one behind Muafakat Nasional.

I wonder where did he get the fact from and whoever advised him on that is a ‘cracky mind’.

I guess he likes choosing Najib for almost all of his rantings. Najib even ‘follows’ him to the washroom, having a peek at what he does, maybe.

Let me tell him. It was UMNO president Zahid Hamidi who mooted the idea of UMNO-PAS Muafakat Nasional, not Najib and those who claimed credit for it, Please get it right and not just making a blind statement.

I would also like to tell others and remind them – especially those in UMNO leadership – not to ring their own bell that they were the ones mooting the idea.

No names are worth mentioning because to me, they just want to build personal glory.

As for Dr Mahathir, better stop it now.

You deserve a better picture domestically and internationally. In politics, we win some and we lose some.

World history has proven it, and before its too late, take a good rest and rekindle about the time when you presided UMNO and the country.

Its time to make Malaysians, especially the Malays, remember you – as a hero or villain – its for you to choose. – BACALAHMALAYSIA.MY
