Super Ring Has Last Laugh Against Opposition Via Najib

By Kaki Bedal

It is quite amusing to see some opposition leaders and supporters eating Super Ring snack, obviously to belittle its most famous promoter – Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

This is also and most probably because of subsequent High Court sentencing where Najib was found guilty of all charges of abuse of power and corruption in the SRC case.

The opposition leaders must be delirious with happiness for the guilty verdict against the former Prime Minister without realising their foolishness and stupidity for doing that.

Firstly, they had given acknowledgement and promoting  Super Ring which the producer of the snack will forever be grateful.

The sales of the snack might be undergoing dramatic growth in a pandemic movement constricted era too!

One wonders if Najib could be profiting in other ways. If the former leader has some equity with the snack company, he will be laughing all the way to the bank – just saying.

Secondly, they – the opposition leaders and supporters have really hit a wall and don’t know where to go. In short, they have run out of ideas.

In other words, they’ve got nothing to persuade the public or attract the voters. Another sign that they’re admitting themselves as failed politicians.

They are just copying the only person they demonize mercilessly all these while. Looks like Najib is a shadow they could not shake off.

Thirdly, those opposing the opposition are given the chance to counter after Sabah Chief Minister, another opposition friendly leader, decided to take the risk of new election in the state by dissolving the state assembly.

Apparently Datuk Seri Shapie Apdal couldn’t stomach the realisation that support for him has now dissolved and has gone back to his nemesis, Tan Sri Musa Aman.

One question to Shafie (and the opposition) – what have the electorate in Sabah gained since you became Chief Minister?

One can also ask whether Shafie realises that he has been in the seat of power as minister in charge of Sabah with Umno too, and whether he has really been good to the state.

Sabahans will and should know who they can trust, definitely not Shafie. If before they chose to be with Shafie, now they can revert back to Musa ?

I wonder if Super Ring sales will experience another boost if the former Finance Minister, Lim Guan Eng and former Religious Minister, Mujahid Yusof Rawa be investigated for allegations of abuse of power or corruption during their 22 months time managing the country’s and Tabung Haji affairs.

Not to mention other ‘errors’ by others when Pakatan Harapan was in power.

So, even if he continues to be a popular target by opposition figures especially ‘Atok’, Najib has lots of reasons to smile and continue to eat Super Ring.
